I have a 1995 Acura Integra and I know literally not a single thing about cars. I noticed that the brakelights dont work as well as any of the front lights except the high beams. I checked the brake light switch which Im sure is is fine. Then i checked the fuses. I used a probe that lights up if a fuse works to check as well as a fuse checker. So i replaced the fuses that werent lighting up on the probe but I noticed they were still good, according to the fuse checker. The new ones i put in arent receiving power. What could the problem be?

can you post some pictures of the break lights (both in the lights on, no brake pedal position and the brake pedal on position).

It could be a lot of things, Bad Ground somewhere, shorting wiring harness, worn out electrical connector (wire fatigue, pulling out of the plug, etc.) or could even be a weak battery/alternator (less likely)

so next thing I think would help would be pictures (maybe when it's dark for contrast?).

I mean, it seems obvious, but did you

1. check to make sure the inside and outside of the housing is clean

and 2. install new bulbs?

Since going to church makes you a Christian, does going to the garage make you a car?

If my sig offends you, ignore it. If you don't know how, pm me & I can show you.
