UPDATES!!

Spring is finally here, and I'm finally starting to get some work done on the Integra! =)

Started out be cleaning out back of the car. Took out back seats, and panels. Removed all the sub-woofer, and amplifier wires i wont be needing.

Also finally finished purchasing all the exterior moldings i'm going to need when i drop it off at the body shop.

The grill on the front pumper had a bunch of over spray on it from the previous owners body guy. I got some SEM trim black, and cleaned it up.

The headlights also had some over spray on them with the typical hazed/oxidation over the surface. Cleaned those up also.

Also while i was cleaning the car i noticed the carpet was damp underneath the dash on the passenger side floor. I did some reasearch, and a found that a fellow Team Integra member fixed this problem by taking off his cowl, and replacing the weather stripping underneath the cowl. Followed the exact steps he posted, and so far so good. No more damp carpet.

Also went ahead, and sprayed the cowl with the SEM trim black. Along with the windshield wiper arms.

Almost looks brand new lol

new weather strip installed

Put the front bumper back on to take the car to get a state inspection sticker. I checked a few things to make sure it was going to pass. I had a little issue with my blinkers not working. However, the hazards would work. Ended up being the turn signal fuse. Also replaced one of the turn signal bulbs. Luckily everything went well, and my car was finally legal to be used on state roads =)

Now that i have my state inspection sticker I'm hoping to finally install my suspension very soon. Along with the suspension i also need to replace my oil pan, and valve cover gasket to take care of my oil leaks. While i'm under there i'm going to do some routine maintenance that needs to be done. I'm hoping to have the car in the body shop in a few weeks after the suspension, gaskets, and maintenance is taken care of. I will be updating the thread as i go.

Thanks man. I got a pretty decent deal on them. I'm overall really happy with them. Can't wait to send them out to get refinished

So i had planned to install all my suspension stuff Saturday morning. Unfortunately my battery started acting up. I didn't make it 4 blocks down from my house until my battery died. I jumped it again, and it just died out. Took it to Autozone to get it charged, and tested. They said the battery was starting to go. I ordered a OEM Honda battery today. I'll be heading up to Majestic Honda this afternoon to pick it up. I'm really hoping i can install my suspension parts this weekend. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated

Got my battery. I'd like to hook it up today, but it's pouring outside. I'll do that tomorrow when I get off work.

I'd love if he could find me one too haha

Awesome build by the way! Are you gonna lean towards doing a ITR replica?

Thanks man! I'm actually going for the SI-VTEC look

UPDATES!

So I finally got around to doing all the repairs, and maintenance to the motor. I'm not doing anything crazy i just need it to last me a couple years so i can save up for a GSR swap.

Any who i replaced, the valve cover, and oil pan gasket. Also changed the oil, trans fluid, plugs, wires, fuel filter, and air filter.

This past Friday night i also got some time to install my suspension parts.

Quick side note: If anyone has a ITR 22mm rear sway bar please let me know!

Now that the motor/trans is taken care of, and the suspension is in i can finally drop this thing off at the body shop this week. I'm just waiting on a couple of parts to come in the mail. I'm hoping to drop the car off on Friday.

Keep an eye out for more updates!

Once again i'm overdue for some updates lol

I was going to have the body shop install the fogs, but i just decided to do it myself.

Back on June 5th i finally dropped the car off at the body shop. Before i dropped it off i had to order a couple more rubber seals for the doors.

Forgot to mention i picked up a SI-VTEC lip back in January. Not the greatest pic, but you guys get the idea lol,

So like i mentioned i dropped it off June 5th. I popped in a week and a half later later to check the progress.

The side moldings on the doors, and quarter panels broke when they were taking them off. So i went back this past Tuesday to drop off the new ones. Here was the Integra's current state.

I'm hoping it will be done this week. If so i'll be sure to post pics. I also sent out my CPR's to get their new finish about a month ago. I'm hoping to get them back soon also.

Stay tuned!!
