is a new ABS sensor needed for type r suspension swap?

I was looking into getting the inegra type R shocks and springs for my 1996 GSR. I know that i will need to get the rear lower control arms for sure.

I found this article that states that the type r abs sensor lines are needed as well.
Build Your Own Type R Suspension

None of the other guides i have seen have mentioned the abs lines, is it possible to use the stock GSR abs lines or do i need to get the type r ones?

Thanks!

I did not read the article that your referred to. In my opinion, you should not be required to replace the existing GSR ABS sensor with a Type R ABS sensor when replacing shocks/springs and control arms.

Their reasoning was that the mounting limits
Points on the type r control arms was different for the sensor.
Is it something you can just zip type on?

I used zip ties after upgrading suspension on my Integra.

I also used zip ties to hold the abs sensors on. I have not had any problems and I've been running the LCAs since 2014.
