Kill Switch is engaged, don't know how to turn off

I purchased my 98 Acura Integra from a private individual last year. She said she had an alarm system installed in the car and then, later, had it disabled. there is no remote. I didn't have a problem until I left my lights on and needed a jump. After driving the car for a day or two after the jump, I went to crank up the car and it won't start. the radio comes on and there is a faint beep, beep beep, but the car will not crank. I've tried to lock/unlock, toggle switch with key in every position, unlocking the trunk twice, popped the hood and pressed the button, all to no avail. I called the previous owner and she said it was the factory alarm giving me the trouble, she had the aftermarket alarm disabled. HELP!

After you do that, go and either get a new aftermarket alarm installed or get the factory one fixed/get the aftermarket one pulled. It will continue to give you trouble if you don't.
