Lol. Did you notice, I also painted the wheel well. Took me some time to remove all that black sticky crap that was there. I have no clue what it was. Some claim that used car dealerships randomly apply undercoating? I think it was a build-up of asphalt sealer from summer driving, mixed with the rubber from drag racing and burn-outs... I used screw driver, towel and rubbing alcohol to clean it. Then masked it off. Gave it few coats of sealer. Then followed-up with 2 base coats of Championship White, and finished it with 2 wet coats of clear. Have to admit, it turned-out pretty glossy for a wheel well. I only did it to front. Since my car is up on jack stands 99% of the time, it makes sense to have it clean to work on. Makes me not want to drive it in the rain now.

My Build

Wow nice attention to detail. Wish I would have taken the time to do that.

Another last minute completion. The dyno is scheduled for tomorrow 9a.m. I thought I was going to finish NA to FI conversion over the weekend, but didn't. Still have few things to do. I freaked-out last night thinking my charge pipes (on the passenger side) may require re-fab following Victor X IM installation. I simply would run out of time. Luckily everything worked out. The pipes did shift forward taking away room for the coolant overflow reservoir. All I had to do is to make few modification to the reservoir mounting bracket and moved it 6 inches back. (Will be posting the picture).
One thing I forgot was to lubricate the turbo before installation. It set for 11 months! I guess I'm just going to have to prime the oil pump prior to the start. All in all, I hope to beat my PB of 409.9whp/302 ft-lb tq. tomorrow. Can't wait for the Honda Fest. It is on Sunday. I hope weather forecast changes as it currently shows rain for the next 10 days. Keeping my fingers crossed.

It's rare to see a McLaren at the drag strip, respect to the owner. And for "driving the shit out of it." lol Also good job on keeping up with it.

HondaFest 2019 took place at Pacific Raceways on Sunday. Some nice looking rides made it to the show:
