Need help

Is there something wrong because the piston is all the way up or i should be good ? As You guys can see the pistons dnt line up with the deck height ect i jist new bearing and pistoms ringa and arp bolts rods and main

My brand new ITR piston has those marking. Did you use the clay method? That will determine your piston-valve clearance.

About time I can now apply for Historic Tags for my GS/VTEC Automatic and no more SMOG

Nop i didnt tht did the valve clearence

From what the picture shows, it is likely that the engine spun a rod bearing in that very cylinder. Hence the piston appears to be sitting a little below the deck. However, if all pistons seat equally below the deck surface may suggest that someone has been inside this engine before, lowered the compression by either using a various combination of pistons rods, crank - stroked it. In that case, you shall not experience piston to valve clearance issues, but will experience lower than normal compression (less power). However, if running a turbo, then I wouldn't even worry about it.

Because i just rebuilt that engine i gonna go lsvtec nitrous
