Air flow issue?

Did any of you have blockage issues with part #s 9, 11, or 15 (connecting to PCV)?

Is this common to have blockage issues in them?

There are currently no pictures or references with the numbers that you have above. What are part numbers 9, 11, & 15?

my #15 hose is currently rotted shut but as far as i know (just bought my 95 LS on Saturday with very neglected maintenance) isn't causing any running issues.

It's very common to have blockage issues. It's oil vapor that can cause sludge. There are a ton of existing threads in regards to the PCV system.

What are some practical tips in cleaning

- #9 and
- #15?

Is #9 more important than #15?

Acura does not have #9 part any more.

They're hoses, that's it. One isn't any more important over the other. Clean them with degreaser. I would also clean (or just replace because they're cheap), the PCV valve itself.

To remove them, the hoses don't separate from the metal - what is the un-harmful lubricant that I can use on them?

Anything will work. Use WD-40 if you want.
