SO, since it was still leaking, I decided to use RTV sealant around that extension ring and the foam cup between the speaker and ring.

SUCCESS! no water on my door sill.

Water leaks fixed for now. Working on getting body back to OEM.

check out the drain tubes where they exit the body.

I put together a video friom today. I had my neighbor help pour and I looked for water in the tubes. I can clearly see water backing up the tube on the driver side ( slo mo in video) Over the last month I had the car parked and getting sap on it from trees, so the drain holes could have been mucked up.

I did want to say that when i filled up the driver side and it backflowed enough to come out of both sides of the car. SO it must back up into a Moon roof reservoir and then spill over? I am tempted to take the top off and have a look at the Tubes up top, but I think cleaning out the drains real good will work for now.

We did get a ton of rain and there was not a break for 3 days of solid rain.

In the video, i was pressed for time, and I used video of my 4 door teg to show the Tubes in the Trunk.. 4 door teg leak videos are on my you tube btw.

its pathetic how many water leaks our integras have
speaking of 94-01 tegs only
  • windshield cowl
  • fender drains, seam sealer cracked
  • roof molding at hatch
  • hatch mount bolt seals
  • sunroof drain tubes coming unhooked
  • sunroof drain valves at body exits clogged
  • antenna has a water drain tube also
  • taillight gaskets
  • taillight alignment grommets (clear and gray) left and right
  • seam sealer cracked along left and right hatch drain channel, right by the hatch weather strip
  • seam sealer cracks at rear of body around taillights.
  • if water gets into taillights, they can fill up and drain back out into your hatch through the bulb holes.
  • ANY OTHER SPOTS WE NEED TO ADDRESS?

3RD video link is a duplicate of second, but I found it from you tube channel. also that password JDM delete is for the wiper itself, not the washer spray nozzle. But im sure you already figured this out. I deleted my wiper and pointed the nozzle up to spray a people or cars on the road. lol

I fixed the video llink. tks/

Yea, I bought the rear wiper delete when I first bought the car. I ended up dealing with all these leaks and have put it on hold. I really think the hatch looks better without the wiper.

I just fiddled with my rear wiper nozzle and it is loose also. NOt sure If I want to go through the hell of removing the headliner again.

which consists of removing
  • rear panel between taillights
  • rear seat backs
  • rear bottom seat
  • rear side panels from taillights to front seat belts
  • rear seat belt bolts
  • rear window trim pieces
  • dome light
  • sun visors
  • map lights
  • oh crap handle

might be missing a few small things, but thats it from my memory.

Since I removed my rear wiper, I may just unhook the hose at the pump and plug the hole in the roof somehow. weld it up or something.

@Kidwilson Was it a square hole or round hole in roof and how well did the new nozzle secure into place?

if you watch my video, it will show the hole that the Washer goes into. Its a small square.

If im not mistaken, i was told you can take two credit cards and place them bumper side and hood side and depress the clips that hold the washer in,,, and pull it out of the Square hole it sits in

TO answer your question, mine did not set completey flush when put in brand new, I had to pull it back out and put some silicone under it.

Instead of removing the headliner, i would try to just pull the wazher out from the top,. You may want to ask some experts lol

Im actually still kind of afraid to put my car back together unrtil i am sure i am not leaking anymore.

so far the RTV seems to have done the trick on the roof leak..

The two in the rear are pretty easy to see and access. I have never seen the front ones or taken the time to find them. I usually blow out my drains from the top with shop compressed air.

once you take your panels out of the rear, they are right behind some metal frame work. I think Kidwilson, a few posts above, has some youtube vids he made about the rear. you can probably see the sunroof drains there as well. The antenna on left side has a drain tube attached to the sunroof drain as well.

There are many links and threads about sunroof drains, but as our cars age, there may be more and more wrong than just sunroof drains.

I had to look at that picture for a minute. Yes that is the Black rubber piece that water exits the car from inside the trunk. THE drain tubes are connected to that Black piece also on the inside of the REAR trunk. Both sides of the the rear. you can get to them by removing the side paneling. I made a ton of videos, and the rest of the previous posts should explain in great detail on water leaks and the layout etc.

I havents seen the pic from that side so tks for that. cheers and good luck.
