History of Team Integra
Every story has a beginning...every legend has a hero...and every Integra has a website dedicated to the coolness of Integras everywhere!!

School was out, work was slow, it was the Summer of 2000. Amidst the "I have nothing better to do than work on my car" attitude of the season spawned an idea that would eventually explode into what we know now as Team Integra. It began with a website known as Super Honda, a typical Honda community for people to argue and bicker with each other over things they don't understand. The greatest memories of that board lie in Michael Delaney making his victorious entrances into the Integra forum to lay some smack down on everyone. A couple of us Integra loyalists decided we wanted something with a little more substance.

The Del Sol board had their cool "Team Del Sol" website which they bragged about constantly. They thought they were so badass with their little website and everything. Team Del Sol's latest and greatest addition was their "Build Your Own Cold Air Intake" article, which turned more than a few heads. At the time, AEM and Iceman were the two big CAI brands and were both pricey. The "Ebay special" cheapo CAI's were not available back then so a DIY CAI project was quite attractive to the poor enthusiasts at the time. The problem for us Integra owners was, Team Del SOl's CAI design didn't work for the Integra. What was my solution? Make one for my 8 month-old Integra LS, it would be my first performance upgrade and what would begin the obsession.

On August 4th 2000, after completing my DIY CAI project, I put up a website and called it "Team Integra" which showcased my DIY CAI in all it's awesomeness. You can still see the original Team Integra website at http://teamintegra.8k.com/index2.htm. I told everyone on Super Honda's Integra board (which we are now banned from BTW haha) to come check out the CAI I built and to see the instructions for building it themselves too. I put up the Team Integra website as a place for others to post their own Integra DIY projects to share with others. The message boards only did so much, and I felt it would be good to have a place for Integra owners to show the things they've done for everyone else's benefit.

MorningZ submitted his radio guide soon after and started throwing around ideas to make the site grow further. He was toying with ASP at work and decided it would be a good idea to incorporate it into the site. In November I purchased the domains Team-Integra.net and Team-Integra.com and MorningZ began coding the ASP to make the site look like something other than a piece of crap. I will admit my kiddy frames-based HTML site was a little less than spectacular haha. We then had member logins as well as a message board.

Things just began to take off from there. As MorningZ progressed with his ASP at work he just would incorporate more and more of it into the site. Through 2001 the site saw a couple server changes to cope with the ever increasing bandwidth and the content on the site just kept growing thanks to MorningZ's mad ASP skillz. Towards the end of 2001 I designed a single color logo capable of being cut into a decal and MorningZ hooked it up with a sticker shop out in Florida to get things happening. Team Integra decals were then starting to be seen on Tegs around the world.

At the end of 2001 Team Integra scored a spot in Sport Compact Car. Yup we had the hottubs ready to score all the babes flocking to us because of what big time celebrities we became. I don't know about Z, but I guess they forgot to put my address in the article since no fan-crazy ladies showed up at my door. Oh well, next time right? Also during that same time we scored Modacar as our very first sponsor.

In 2002 we saw the first official Team Integra meet on Jan. 19 followed by the big server "crash" on Feb. 16. After the crash MorningZ decided on a couple redesigns of the site as well as changes in site functionality. MorningZ gave me a template to edit and add a logo to and thus the new Team Integra design came about. MorningZ consolidated all the sections of the site into the Articles to allow for more member participation and make everything more automated in order to further Team Integra toward his master plan.

Of course there's more to come for Team Integra, for all we know things could be just beginning. Who knows what the future holds, only time will tell.
