Anyone know a good person to swap in a motor? Really don't want to take it to a shop to get it done. They charge to much. Looking for a mechanic or experienced guy to do it. Some assembly would be required. Short block is assembled but head would need to be put on and valves adjusted. Water and oil pump put on. It is a b18b motor in a 2000 integra ls. The car is runing well, but rich, when i got it she was running a lambda of .65, i've managed to get the lambda to .82-.85 at idle and low rpm cruise. I have a tuner in el paso i'll be taking her to and getting a performance tune on. But i'm tying to get her to settle at a 1.0 for idle and cruise before i get her there. If anyone has any ideas? I dont have my laptop right now but once i get it back, and get back from vacation (roughly 2 weeks) I'll be able to datalog.

I upped the fuel maps to get it from .65 to .82, i don't understand how adding more fuel made it leaner (ableit still lean) but the numebrs and how she's driving show it worked. I foul out plugs within 2 days, end up cleaning them to keep her running, i've burned through a tank of gas in 120miles, of slow driving.

A friend of mine is thinking that it could be the timing, but i'm open to all ideas so i can check them.

Few specs

'98 ITR, Supercharged, Methonal injected, stock engine, 440RC injectors. Using the JRSC 440RC 16ohm injector map that comes in s300. Fuel pressure when engine off 31, engine started 51.

Any ideas to lean it out? I know i havent been able to supply much information, but any ideas period i'd be glad to hear. I'm Jay new to the site, For the past 12 years I've owned and modded Honda Civic's. About One month ago my EK hatch suffered an injury that sent her straight to the scrap yard. So about three weeks ago I found this beauty on Craigslist for $700 a 1995 Acura Integra SE shell. This is just the start of a new relationship and new adventures, and I hope you guys will appreciate the work the will be spent on this build. For the time being Mona will get a stock LS just to get me running then I'll be working on the suspension, then building a forged bottom from a donor block for a turbo build. Once the suspension and motor are done then I will focus the cosmetics and exterior. Well enough talking check out these pictures.

* My car currently idles at about 1k RPM when the engine is warm.
* When I put the car in neutral as it is moving, or push the clutch, the RPMs climb to somewhere between 2-2.5k.
* The RPMs slowly drop back down to about 1.5k if I stop the car, but not immediately.

I've tried:

* Adjusting the idle to 650 RPM with the IAC unplugged. This is what set it to the 1k RPM idle, where it was previously 1.5k.
* Adjusting the TPS. The sensor reads .5v at closed throttle, 3.30v at WOT. Yes, I know it's supposed to be 4.5v but I'm unable to adjust the TPS any further.
* Replacing the TPS. Just installed a new one tonight and it acts exactly like the last one.
* Adjusting the throttle cable. I tightened it up a bit but there is still some play in the cable.

The high idle and acceleration in neutral started after I originally adjusted the TPS in order to resolve an intermittent stuttering issue at low speeds. The throttle would cut out and then kick back in, making the car buck rather violently. At one point I got a CEL stating that there was a throttle sensor issue but it hasn't come back after an ECU reset.

I've got a 96 SE with a 99 B20B, an SRI and a lightened flywheel. The flywheel and motor have been installed since Oct 2010. A couple thousand miles before the car started idling funny, I used some "stop leak" style oil additive.

I have a Helms but I haven't had a chance to look through it yet. Has anyone run into anything like this before?
