1. Getting a ticket just for been in a Teg (been non-caucasian in hicksville doesn't help either) and going 31mph on that cop mine field of a road.
2. Getting stuck behind a Buick Century or mobile home in capable of breaking 25 mph downhill.
3. My car is getting up there in mileage and things are breaking every now and then and murphie's law means something big will break when you are 1000 miles away from home.
4. This one I really worry about been from Florida and getting used to outdoor plans been ruined. RAIN!!!!
If I can get over these fears I will be on that next trip. I should open a seperate account for the gas bill as well
Seriously phil... with that thinking.. maybe its best you dont go....
personally i think, cops or no cops, it was well well worth it, and i was "working" all weekend... and i bet at least 4 other cars drove further that the few of us from South FL did

Nothing failed...I made too much power and the sleeve couldn't hold it.

Dropping my car off tonight at the dealership, they are going to charge $300 to replace my radiator, hoses, and thermostat w/ labor. I thought it was a good deal. I just don't have the time right now w/ work to do it myself.

I know the link to the truck accident Dragon closure was a few pages back, but did anyone notice who I photographed on the page 3, second to last photo?
2nd season Survivor winner, Tina Wesson. She lives up by the Deal's Gap store, unfortunately she was on the wrong side of the road closure...
at the time, Wed around 4pm, the police said it would be 2 hours to clean up the mess....Fri around noon they re-opened the road

hey i got two tickets too lol..il probly end up losing my license as i had 8 points before i got a speeding ticket in tenessee  .....oh and did anyone see how crazy that cop got when he noticed i wasnt wearing my seatbelt when we were all goin thru the dragon as a group to uno's??

Yeah, I was just ahead of you in the DVP GSR. He took off running to his cruiser like he was about to miss a krispy kream convention.

alright guys ... im happy to say me and ashley are home and the teg is still alive!.....still duct taped and zip tied and some shield rattling when i brake and fender liner missin but its home!!! almost had an issue though cuz when the tire shred ripped my fender liner out where the liner screws in on those tabs around the inside yeah when i turned they were rubbin my tire bad and actually made a slit the whole way around the edge of my tire glad i noticed it before it sliced whole way thru!! MY DAD IS PISSED that i didnt get a police report so insurance would fix it since it was a BRAND new oem bumper with fresh paint not even a year old lol oopsies
... we ended up not driving straight to the obx we missed the crew so much we turned way outta the way and headed up to lexington VA to crash with them one more night thennnn went to the obx til thursday which was awesome.. made it to lancaster after 10hrs of driving in nasty storms (got a pic of a FUNNEL cloud forming over us!!) while ash was passed out at about 130 am and at that point i woke her up got out and gave her my car and said take yourself home im sick of driving!!! lol
i dont even have time to read all 25 pgs or post my pics right now im actually leaving to go to bethlehem now to meet up with Rob again :) ill get them all up sunday or monday!
....it was SO awesome to finally meet so many ppl esp the chat crew .. our drive down def like bonded the northeast crew and yeah I really hope to see everyone next year ..
by the way me and ash move into our house saturday if anyone ever wants to come visit and party or you north east ppl need somewhere to stop on the way to court :-p

yeah, i'll def. have to start saving so i can 'attend the dragon' next year. after adding up my estimated pay checks for this month minus expenses i'll have a whopping 15 bucks to add to my dragon run 08 fund.. lol... i'm def. hoping to be able to go though as long as my teg holds up. it just hit 185k the other week and still running
