There were just a few all weekend, I was surprised. Nothing will compare to the cop presence in 2007 though. I'd say about 80% of us got tickets that year..

Haha! Oh yeah. There were a lot of cops. Everything from hiding on the Dragon, to following us in unmarked vehicles causing the group to get split up, to honing in on our radio frequency and responding to our conversations!

Dragon Run '09 was amazing. I have been wanting to attend this event for two years and was able to make some room in my schedule. This was the first time I had met people from the site besides locals in my area and I was able to meet many people who down to earth. Having been with the T-I community at the Dragon made my experience that much better. My hat is off to you Steve for putting this event together, keeping it running smoothly, and maintaining a great site with so many good people that are a part of it.
Shout outs:
Dane and Sarah: My crazy Canadian neighbors for the weekend (We need to have the same setup next year haha). Thanks for the ride down to the pizza shop on Friday. And Sarah...its "pen" not "paaan" lol. And sorry that our trip home for 8 1/2 hrs. only got you 1 hr closer to home haha.
Dan and Santos: Makin good time getting down to Christiansburg and thinking we were gonna get pulled over!
Northeast Crew: The ride down was a wet mess, but it was good nonetheless.
Andrew: You and your dad are good peeps and it was good to meet you this year.
Lance: I need to get you a loud speaker the next time we have a meal together haha. Don't get tired of that carbon fiber yet, it looks too good!
Mike: Thanks for the beer on Friday. trying to fill up the cooler with ice and breaking floor tiles...haha
There are many others that I am forgetting but for all the people I met it was a pleasure and I hope to see everyone again next year.

You're leaving out half the story.
First of all, it wasn't Trish. I don't know who it was, but it was definitely a dude.
Second of all, you forgot when Amanda said, "sounds like you're too busy talkin" which she still won't admit to 
And compared to past years, there were very few cops. I assume the unmarked car you speak of is the sherriff's deputy after the skyway run, it's not like he was on the dragon.

It was awesome driving down with you during down with you during our way back. your teg was pretty awesome It a bit hard trying to keep up with your B20 teg during our lil skyway run but your a cool guy and got a pretty awesome teg. Oh I admit to it, but it wasn't in context to anything else that was going on! I didn't hear ANY of what was said before, I figured Joe was the only one who could hear me and to me it looked like that trooper was talking to the guy standing by his car.
