Mister "wake my ass up" is on there too. Sorry, I've forgotten whose car that was.
That was Tom's (intrepid02) car

That event calendar is taken directly from TailofTheDragon.com Somebody submitted us to their calendar months ago. We were there last year too.
That would be me.... took me a few days of emails with them to get the URL right, but it all worked out

Anyone know the story on this Dam, that side building there with the tall windows with the half circle window sections on top, look a little too nice to be on the side of some old industrial complex...?
The Hoover Dam has similar buildings at the bottom of it.... and if i remember correctly that is where the big turbines are housed in

Make a post... ill be the first to respond! Looks like a hell of a time :-) loving the pics btw!
It's a little too soon for that, plus I am looking to move the event to earlier as the number one complaint, in fact the only one i ever heard, was "it's too hot".... there's some factors in picking a weekend like the fact that a lot of people on this site are in college, so it has to be during summer break and stuff..... anyways, that discussion will come after this week and on a seperate topic, not looking to fill up this one with tht problem

This is the damn that Harrison Ford jumped off of in the movie Fugitive.....as posted by another member earlier in the thread.
Nice video, seems like a lot of fun, I love the end when you pass by the banner, It's like: "Oh shit quick the banner is coming turn the camera, turn the camera!!...just in time."
I've got one more enconding now, and it's my favorite of the bunch...... 10 mins to encode and then however long it takes to get to YouTube
I have more footage than that where i had the camera pointed backwards
But there's two problems..... (1) the person behind me wasn't following remotely close enough to me to make the video interesting, and (2) I didn't secure the lens cap good enough and it was bouncing around in front of the camera too often

I actually know a little bit of the story, and I'll learn more tomorrow. (my uncle lives and works(for duke power, so he deals with these things) within ~20 min of robbinsville)
The name Tapoco actually comes from the damn project, by the way.
