Agree'd Yea we do get attached to these cars but at the end of the day its just 2,600 pounds of metal, rubber, and plastic. It's not like his mom just died.

Thats so horrible. If someone ever stole my car and i found it like that, for one I'd cry, then after i was over it I would devote my life to finding the thieves, then the rest would involve a pistol, latex gloves and a ski mask.

been there, done that.
it sucks for the first week or so, but moping wont bring your car back together from pieces, just gotta learn to move on.
the only real stinger is if you didnt have proper coverage of it (comprehensive insurance, back up of receipts, etc)
Like chandler said so appropriately, "its not like his mom died"
just part of owning the car.

Well it is a sad fact seeing car's get stolen but with all those stickers on this car man he was just putting a big sign "STEAL ME" but i dont care losing your will make you feel a little down for a bit but you have to pick yourself up and move on like Chandler said "its not like his mom died" it is part of having a modified car someone will want to steal no matter what you do for it alarm's, security, fuel out off, etc you just have to move on after it has been taken from you. None the less it is a sad video almost made me cry

Heres a really sad video i found a wile back. Lots of time money and effort down the drain. People who steal cars are so thoughless. Stealing a project car like this could ruin a persons life. All for money its rediculous. get a job.

Man, i'm tired of seeing stupid posts like this...freal! It's no one's car on this site, and if it is, at least they've gotten over it because IT ISN'T THEIR POSTING!
If you feel sad because of all the "money, sweat, blood and tears" you put into it, then to be frank, that's your problem. Why would you invest so much money into a car knowing the possibility that it can be stolen at any moment?! Moreover, even if you had full-coverage insurance, you will not get the money for the parts and/or labor you put into it. The appraiser will mostly give you the private-party kbb value of it.
