So I've been busy working and fixing little things here and there. Got the dP all fixed up, and got the MAc boost solenoid last week.
I've been battleing the damn solenoid though. I cant figure out how to get it to work no matter what I've tried. I am positive I have everything wired up right. I've been consulting people on ectune forums to no avail. I may end up going to xenocron to get it sorted, since i got it from them anyway.
I just got a skunk2 intake manifold from a user here and expect that to be in and installed this coming weekend.
if you end up going to xenocron give me a call cus i live like down the road from that place lol

No matter how I have the power source hooked up it just stays on all the time (Like it engergizes and closes) and changing settings in ectune doesnt seem to do anything.
I haven't really worked on it in a week cause my MBC works great and is good enough for me for now. I think Im gonna wait until I go back to school where I can work it out with my roomate.

So I came across a steal of a deal for a new GT28r. Its not a RS but an R. Its a bit smaller then the RS and maxs out at about 310hp vs 350 for the RS. Im pretty confident I dont wanna take this car past 300hp so would it be worth it to upgrade my 18g for the 28r? I havent really found any dynos of the 28r on b series stock to see spool times but id imagine its very quick, which would be really awesome for the street. But the 18g is no slouch either, seeing full boost right now for me before 4500rpm. Ideas?
This is the turbo that comes with the edelbrok kit btw.
This turbo would flow about the same as my 18g at 10 psi vs 12psi

The RS spools damn quick and i can only imagine that the R would spool a bit faster. Looking at vids of an RS on various integras it spools about @ 3750ish. I'm all about throttle response so i would be all over it

look at the vid Hero put up in his log. His RS looks to hit around 3500-4000 and he's running a ramhorn manifold. Your log style should spool even faster

If you are fairly confident that you won't go over 3, it'd be great. I've got to sit back and think though way back when when I got into integras that I figured hell i'll never boost it thats just retarded...why in sam hell would anyone want to boost a car...they're quick enough as it is...and now look at us all :) its crack!
Oh, I was going to ask as I never saw an answer on here or on the eCtune forum, did you ever get your EBC to work right? That's one thing that I want to install later down the road, and wanted to know if you actually found out what was causing your problems.
