I am starting to document my build. I have a 2001 Acura Integra 4 Door. Had it for about 3 years, gonna build it one more time then I am done, just gonna drive it, change the oil and put gas in it....lol. But the final build was originally going to shoot for 1000whp on a 4 cylinder with AC and powersteering. Well after a long in depth discussion with John at Inlinepro we decided that we should tone that goal down (not because it was unachievable, but un practical because I don't want my baby to be a dyno queen, she is gonna drive on the streets). The new goal that we are easily gonna accomplish is going to be somewhere in the 600-800hp range. In the meantime of doing all this I started a complete wire tuck and JDM front end conversion on the teg. Also relocating my battery and fusebox from under the hood to in the car. Well the car hit a stand still a few months back when I got a shop (yea, kinda backwards) because me and my boy who rents the shop with me had so much shit we had to sell and junk a lot of crap to get all our cars in there. Unfortunately the other downside and stand still is I just had a daughter. I am overjoyed at that but it is with my Ex, we split, then found out she was already 2 months pregnant. Me being the man that I am, I want to be part of my daughters life, well she is being a bitch and hasn't let me see my daughter much, so I have entailed the help of a lawyer, which in turn is costing me thousands of dollars, but hopefully we have finally come to an agreement. But that has put my project to a halt. But now with all the background shit gone, here is my set-up that is in the process of being put together.....

-k24a2 TSX block sleeved with Brain Crower stroker kit....2.6L
-9.0.1cp CP Pistons
-AFI Sidewinder turbo manifold with 4' downpipe
-GT40R BB turbo....
-k20a2 Type S Head all Brian Crowered out (Valves, Valve Springs, Retainers, Boost Cams)
-AFI Intake Manifold
-Hybrid Racing Parts Galore!!

I will get pictures up as I can take them, once my car hits my shop...

All I ask is you keep your negativity away from here, its my car, my money, my life, if you feel the need to criticize, feel free to send me a couple hundred bucks to help me on the car, then you can cry baby about it, until then, **** off, my money, my car. And please realize I am 23, I go to school, I am the assistant General Manager of a bar, and I am shelling out thousands to see my daughter, called priorities and I am busting my ass on all of them, so gimme a break, this is my pride and joy and if you don't believe it, come to my shop and I will show you all my glory....

Here are some old pictures of the teggy before she went down, and how she is looking now....also some pictures of my DD SI on 5 lug.....




Black fenders because I got hit out behind my work (a bar by a drunk driver) and got new fenders. This was before I painted them.... Notice the 5 lug CL Type S/Accord EX 17's.....pimpin.....god I love 5 lug...

Started ripping the dash out and getting rid of all the needless ABS wiring and any wires the K beast won't need....fun I'll tell ya.

Sittin ripped apart in the driveway before the sub division bitched and I had to move her in the garage....soon she will make it down to my shop, just wish the land lord would get us into a bigger one before I move her, would love to have more room now....

Again, sitting torn apart in the drive way.....

Relocating the battery to the trunk and putting these in its place.....this is still just rough, gonna make it all look pretty after a new coat of paint....

Dirty engine bay, bout to get a good cleaning and a lot of shit shaved....

In the garage at the house, bout to put my new 5 lug suspension on her and she will be ready to roll to my shop....

Still has a sexy ass tho.....

Here are some of the parts I have gathered for this project so far.....



First off here is my shop.....


Here is another project I am working on too, my boys 2000 ex turbo GSR...shooting for 550whp to the wheels, he has a good budget, he is currently in Korea with the US Army....


Here is my teggy's dash hanging on the wall in the shop....look closely at that USDM ITR cluster...soon to have the JDM ITR needles....keeping it mph tho.....also the side skirts for the teggy....


The 01 ITR Armrest complete with badge...bought this from a buddy when he put his armrest delete in his ITR...cool thing is, my car is an 01 as well....


Here is my Carbon fiber ITR center vent trim....mmm sexy


My k24a2 block covered on the engine stand and the rest of the motor scattered around it....


JDM ITR radiator support, brand new, also came with the bumper support and the reinforcement bumper...picked them up new cheap from a guy who decided against the JDM front....got the 3 for like 150 bucks and a 2 hour drive, well worth it...


Aeromotive FPR and Karcepts bracket for it


Earls inline fuel filter for when I clean up the fuel system in the car....


40/40 Proportioning Valve since i removed abs, prolly gonna hide this inside the cabin behind the dash where the srs computer was and have bulkhead fittings coming out of the firewall to all stainless lines.....


MMMM Tein Hood Dampners....


The steering lock and NRG adapters for my removeable wheel...


And the wheel....thanks JDM carboy...good shit!!!

Brand new JDM ITR fenders with the OEM sidemarkers...got them cheap from another guy who decided against the conversion, $240 plus a 2 hour drive....


Rhino upper control arms for the front camber adjustment.....


My Innovate wideband o2 sensor and digital display.....


Golden eagle vaccum port going to be hidden behind/in the cowl and bulkheads coming out from the firewall....can ya tell I am going for the clean look....


Wondering what to do with the holes that are left where the seat belt used to bolt too...any suggestions people?? Completely removed the b series ecu harness and all the wires associated with it...also all the wiring associated with the strut tower plugs where the b series engine harness conntects to the car harness. I will say that it is a shit pile of tedious work and tracking down wires and double checking yourself. Also got the last of the ABS wiring shit out today too....on to the pictures...


The cabin harness all opened up and layed out from the car across the garage....


The interior with the pedals out, the steering column out and the wire harness pulled and setting on the drivers side....


The firewall getting more barren...removed the clutch and brake master cylinders, getting ready for the firewall shave and paint....just gotta remove some last few hoses, rear brake lines, and fuel system components and she will be ready for paint!!!


The last of the ABS bullshit, I hate abs, I weighed out every abs component that I pulled and it came out to about 80lbs....thats a shit pile of dead weight!!!


All the B series wires not needed with this swap. This includes the B series ECU harness, and the b series shock tower plugs where the engine harness connects to the car....a lot of shit, trust me too a few hours to do this...I am done with some wiring work for right now....
I dropped the front cross member with the steering rack and all.....




ble cleaning it up here soon so when the car is all back together it is nice and clean and like new again....

Ok, so finished up taking everything off of the firewall....looking clean, nothing attached to it now, so ready for some welding and shaving...hahahaha





And here is the rail that runs under the car to protect and contain the fuel lines to the tank and the rear brake lines....coming off to get replaced with some stainless lines with an fittings...all of em....

Wow, this is definitely one hell of an undertaking. I'm glad to a 4-door 'Teg doing big things. Also thank you for manning up and keeping your daughter as a priority. Not all little girls are that lucky.

Please keep us posted... I'm sure this will turn out sick.

yes that is a crib, but not in my shop, thats at my parents garage...haha, painting the babys room now so pulled everything out, the crib was in the garage that day...haha

quite a while i am sure, being doing this part for years, just finally found my motivation again, so I am gonna go for it again, I want my bitch back out on the road...haha!! I hope withing the next 18 months i can start her, not sure yet....I might buy a type s swap and drop that in the car till the block is done and i have everything for the head and then pull the head, get all that shit done and put in, then put together the built motor....that way i can drive my teg in the mean time...cause i miss her...

Yea, but I am deciding on which front seats I am gonna use, the red with black stich or the black with red stich.....either way going with the type r interior...love the way that shit looks!!
