It would be my belief that if we are doing the wheel weights, we should also do the more popular tire weights as well. A spoon wheel w/ a heavy falken azenis dont really justify the price for the spoons for example. It wouldnt be a long list
195/55R15
205/50R15
205/45R16
are the most common sizes. The weight of the tire is as important, if not more than the wheel as most of us already know...

15 x 7 Rota subzero (yes 15x7) w/ 205/50 Falken Azeni = 36.3 lbs. Claimed weight of rim only is 12lbs. 17x7 Konig Rated R w/slightly worn 205/45 Kuhmo 712 = 36.6 lbs. Weights were done by myself on a calibrated floor scale.

On any given raceday, more mazdas get in the way of hondas than any other car out there.

Yes. Generally, a cast wheel will be heavier than a forged wheel. Why? The alloy is usually thicker when cast to maintain a certain level of strength. The forging process is stronger than the cast process, so a forged wheel can be made lighter and still have strength.

not sure if it has been mentioned, but instead of using wheelweights.net and use the pdf files you can go here:
http://www.gti-vr6.net/library/wheels_tires_brakes/wheels_weight/wheels_A-F.html

makes searching a lot easier (if it has been mentioned, mah bad)
