Ok, so some of my dash lights and climate control lights are not working. The ones i know of are the light that turns on on the dash when i put the car into drive, its and auto, and the other is the defroster button, the one next to the hazard button. i was wondering what kind of bulbs go in these, and also what kind of bulbs to use to change the climate control/cigarette lighter color. thanks

Do you *really* think that in 9 years that bulb sizes has not been covered, and thoroughly?
Please, take some time and effort and actually search..... i promise, this this site full of great information found with even the slightest of effort

it doesn't give the specific bulb, it just says "Instrument Lights: 74,168,194" so i know it isn't the 194, is it the 74 or 168?

The shop manual only gives wattage requirements so here are your choices.
#74 1 watt 14 volt T1.75 Wedge Base .219"w x 0.8" deep
#168 5 watt 14 volt T3.25 Wedge Base .406"w x 1.06" deep
#194 4 watt 14 volt T3.25 Wedge Base .406"w x 1.06" deep
All three types are listed as Automotive Miniature Incandescent Light Bulbs (not LED's)
The 1995 shop manual list the following;
1.2 Watt
A/T Gear Position Indicator Light
1.4 Watt
High Beam Indicator Light
Right Turn Signal Indicator Light
Left Turn Signal Indicator Light
Charging System Light
Brake System Light
Seat Belt Reminder Light
Open Door Indicator Light
Low Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Light
Malfunction Indicator Light
SRS Indicator Light
Cruise Light
Maintenance Reminder Light
ABS Indicator Light
Hatch/Trunk Open Indicator Light
3.4 Watt
Guage Lights x3
Low Fuel Indicator Light

Best Advise, pull the bulbs and take them to the store to buy new.
Best Guess, #74 for everything except the Guage Lights and the Low Fuel Indicator Light. #194 for Guage and Low Fuel. #168 will probably work but is drawing 25% more power.

A lot of the less common bulbs can only bought at the dealership. Depending on which of the two bulbs in the defrost button your talking about, you may have a hard time tracking it down.

IT would be the #74 as the #168's are identical to the 194's. the 74's are smaller.
