Anyone here used it? Doing my research for my next year (or 2) project, turbo. The innovative design and seems to be well built. But google and honda-tech don't seem to have enough info on this. Any thought on its design and reliability?

Check on Honda-tech for the pros and cons debate in the forced. Is it proven, IMHO, not yet, though Peter thinks otherwise. Check it out, and look for yourself from users like Patric4588. he seems satisfied so far.

what's the different between this BOV and the HKS SSQV BOV? both are pull-type.

As TheShodan has already said, there is a HUGE thread over on H-T about this BOV... I, myself do not think this BOV has been proven, nor will I use this BOV.... just check out the thread on HT, it will answer all of your questions.

its not proven...but i do think its a good addition for some of the higher $$$ builds

and being able to use it for boost cut is a nice feature also...that i think will get exploited once someone has the balls to put a big SC on a car

If it Ain't Red...then by golly you must be a SPED!

The thread over there just made me think less of the two reps. The Darth Vader joke was funny however.

I've already read the HT thread, just want more input from a more reliable website. The guy who compared the Synpase with the HKS SSQV, pretty much stating the Synpase is better in every single way... but that sounds like a sells pitch kind a review... which is why i would like to see more input just in case that review was a host or something...

bboiintegra: "i want to put one of these (HKS BOV) in my car but have no clue where or how it goes on. i have a 93 ls teg, will it fit?"

Dutto-07: "ur car is boosted right?"

well i got the bov in and hooked it up. it is very responsive to throttle touch. i had slight compressor surge under low boost with the tial i had, but not bad. right now i am having a small surge problem with this one under all boost levels. i have a vacuum leak though and its suppose to be very sensitive to leaks. right now im working on fixing that

i talked to patrick4588 from honda tech and he said that if you hook up a boost only source to the side port on the bov it will eliminate my problem. so off to try that. wish me luck!

well i drilled a small hole on my charge piping and put a nipple on it. i then ran a vacuum hose from there to the side port on the bov. it works perfectly now! no surge and it reacts extremely fast. excellent product! thumbs up.
