Default Climate Control Bulb ANSWERS

Okay, so ive seen 5 bagillion "which bulbs do I need for my climate control threads", mostly old, but never updated.
This is what you have

If you want to upgrade to LEDs, here is what you will need
Super Bright LEDs - Instrument Cluster and Gauge Backlights

You the want 4(four) 4mm NeoWedge Series bulbs for the climate control.
For the Hazard and Defroster bulbs, you are going to want to get 2(two) 3mm NeoWedge Bulbs

Intensity wise, its up to you. I just orded mine a few days ago so once i get them in I will be sure to post up pictures.

*This is based off of Super Bright LEDs categorizing of NEO bulbs. They may be different from other LED suppliers*

The 4mm also work just fyi.

Couple weeks ago I went through and did my entire LED conversion. Ordered 4mm by accident, but it still fits great. I ordered the cool whites, Ill post some pics tonight.

Map Lights 3022s
Dome Light 3022
Glove Box 3022
Ashtray 74
Cigarette Light 74
Trunk Light 3021
Gauge Cluster 194/168
License Plate Light 168
A/C NEO4

One of the 3022s came broken, so had to solder it back together. I ended up taking the 3022 for the glovebox and putting it into the trunk which is 3022 compatible, but says its 3021, when I ordered the 3021 spec light for the trunk off superbrightleds.com, it was way longer than it should have been. So, now I have an extra led that is garbage, and no light for the glovebox. That's okay though.

Thumbs up

Just the Climate Control lights

and YES, the COOL WHITE does look that blue when put in, just a heads up. It much bluer than other cool whites Ive installed. It doesn't bother me because it matches the deck.

Ahh yes, good point. That was one thing that was a pain to find when doing my research. Just for others to know, that is 4 lights for the climate control cluster that creates the glow that shines through, NOT the 7 little indicator lights for the buttons.

Gotcha guys, I edited the first post. And my mistake, I jumped the gun on the 5 mm bulbs they are really 4 mm. (I bought 3mm then 5mm and realized that they are actually 4mm)

And correct me if Im wrong but it looks like the hazard and defrost buttons are 3mm. Any comments on that?

I'm not to sure about the 3MM led, hazard/defrost are smaller bulbs than the climate control, but I figured I post up pics where the bulbs are located on the climate control.

Maybe you can put the bulb count as well?

climate control, ? X 4mm and ? X 3mm
cluster, ? X ?mm etc

If anyone did amber, please post up a picture.

OMG, I know exactly what you're talking about. When I put my ITR climate control in, I vowed it would never come out again. Well that's until I turned my lights on noticed half were burnt out. FML.

4 bulbs for the climate control

3 bulbs for the cluster, I used NLED-XHP5

I read on ht that neo wedge type A is for defroster and hazard. And you need 2 size 74 for cig lighter.I'll double check this info when I get home.on cell now.

I plan on buyong amber leds tonight, ill post pics when they are in.
