The best kind of wheels for a 2001 GSR?

Hey guys,

I know there might have been many threads like this before but I am currently thinking of getting a set of wheels for my 2001 GSR that I just picked up a couple days ago.

The previous owner used the GSR as his winter car with nothing else, so right now it's running only on winters, steelies and hubcaps.

I've been thinking of a few, like Enkei SR6s



or maybe something a little more.. typical, like a set of rotas. I have a budget I'd like to keep to be around no more than $600?

I like the idea of having the wheels to be bronze in contrast to the black exterior of the car, and maybe I'd keep it to no bigger than 15".

What do you guys think? Anything you guys suggest?

i agree, 15" and bronze would be good features. take a look at the black integ picture thread for ideas.

Since its purely opinions, I also like staying 15" for the size and bronze. No powder coated purple etc for my taste..

Those look sweet, but I love the way my konig retracts looks on my 01 GSR. My tegg is silver and the rims are gunmetal with a polished lip. The wheels also come in white and red if you like them too, just throwing out ideas for you. Good luck finding a set of wheels, my advice take your time and look around.

get some 15x7 Enkie RPF1s in silver. Super light and beautiful on the car. Good luck sir.

Hmm I've looked around but I think the enkei SR6s would be a solid choice. I haven't bought very many aftermarket wheels for myself, so would the SR6s need spacers as well, or could I just throw em on without any fitment issues?
