Ami's Mom's Integra

Hey, Team-Integra! Last Friday, my mother asked me to search for a nice used car for her. She told me her price range and requirements, and I immediately realized that an automatic 2000-2001 DB7 was absolutely the perfect car for her. She must have thought so too because this car is her birthday gift to herself:

Yes, we are DEFINITELY related, LOL! I drove this car for hours yesterday and it was quite solid, even as I did 75-85 MPH for miles on end to keep up with Pennsylvania traffic. Since it is completely unmodified, it is going to stay that way! Dan and I have the car at our house right now and our plans are to do a timing belt service, get all the maintenance up to date, and give it a proper detail before we give it back to her. My mother is admittedly excited at the prospect of kissing mechanics goodbye, for the most part. This car will be regularly detailed and maintained by Dan and me, and all three of us look forward to enjoying this car for years to come!

Your mom is one lucky mama. Get her on here so we can congratulate her on one of the cleanest tegs I've seen since they stopped selling them new!

Which flavor of silver metallic is it?

And because I know you, I'm not going to rag on it being autotragic ;-)

My FS thread

So she's coming to Dragon then?

Do me a favor. From now on don't care what other people think about your car. Do what YOU want to your car. Who gives a damn what other people think about it.

Thumbs up

I'm jealous!

Seriously, that car looks fantastic! Super-clean! Love that silver! If I could only get so lucky....next time I get a Teg, it's a sedan (unless I can score a ITR)

Nice job man on the find and congrats to momma!

Thanks,

- DM

Thank you! It is Vogue Silver Metallic. I appreciate that last part, LOL! At least the auto trans was properly maintained and shifts quite smoothly.

Not this year, but she wants to come to Dragon Run when grandchildren come into the picture.

Thank you! I can't take all the credit as my husband (also a T-I member) found this car and drove us to Philadelphia to get it!

Maybe she will in 2018 or 2019. Not likely in 2017. :P
