Smile Rose, The EBay Sponsored Integra

Hey guysssss. I've always been around in the forums, but never did I ever make my own posts or threads. So here I am, I'm from Portland, Oregon. I started off with getting this VSM Integra for my 16th birthday. That was 2 years ago and the only thing that was done to it was some Booty wheels, and a cheap "dual" system was running in it. It was completelyyyy stock. It's my daily to school and back. But I also love it to the moon and back. She's got a few dings but it's alright. As it sits now I've put in:
-HiD's
-eBay coils
-Type R rep lip
-Rear window visor
-Honda badges
-I/H/E
And a few more miscellaneous things.
I'll get as many pictures as I can, but I don't have many thus far. I've had the car for over 2 years now. & I'm a broke college student with a passion. What am I doing buying eBay items? I'm ballin' on a budget. I know the risks and consequences of eBay and no-name parts.. But I like pushing my car to the limits.. In more than just one way. Got a few goodies for you guys. So this is where it starts. I give you Rose, The eBay Sponsored Integra.

Welcome!

Is the car an LS or GSR?

I was once a broke college student not long ago trying to make my teg look nice on a budget. (Actually, I still do) eBay is a great place to buy parts however just research and make sure you make smart purchases. Shop around for the best prices and there's always the option of buying second hand quality parts for a discounted price. However, there's just some things you want to save up more of your pennies and wait a bit longer to get the legitimate part you've always wanted.

"The poor man pays twice." Is how the saying goes, meaning you'll end up spending more to replace those parts you originally wanted int he first place.

She's looking good so far, keep up the good work!

The teg does look good indeed, it is true you can find good part there once in a while, i got an avid traction bar for 100, heat wrapped header for 100 ect. Shopping around is key for example I have recently installed a four point ultra racing rear steel strut bar (i can feel the difference with it installed) before i got that one i had purchased 2 rear and one front aluminum ones with hinges or lateral play (I could not feel the difference with them installed). That was money wasted on the three that i could have used on something else. If it is an important part save and buy the better quality one first so you don't have to spend more money on it in the long run.

Don't care what anybody else thinks, do what you want to it( just don't overkill)

My rear valances came in today! & so did my "oem" paint! But you know.. it just came from Amazon.com. Lol, I'll let you guys know how the color match is. I've gutted the whole back end of the car to get to the headliner. I covered the headliner with a suede red. I also just went to go pick up some quality black leather to put on my moonroof and pillars. Hopefully I'll finish the next couple days, it just takes so much time! Anyway, I also had my towhooks come in today, only planning on using the rear tho.. cause that's just me. Got that red and black theme going on. But I got this red suede on. Bringing the 80's back knaw mean. Hahah, she's not a Type R.. She's The Type Rose <3

Can't believe I actually forgot to mention that. Lol, it's just an LS. And thanks for the advice. Everyone always says the same thing about ballin' on a budget.. But I've never been a good listener. Haha, I just like learning things the hard way I guess

Here are some pics of the towhooks and tints. I don't know about EBay right now. Lol, the tint is SUPERRR yellow. Like a banana. But, once I peeled it a little it seems to be a good color tint. So with that said.. I don't really have any complaints other than that the "carbon fiber" is only on one side. Lol, but other than that its cool. Seems sturdy and tough too, but its not like I bought it to use it for the intended use. I got it cause swag. Haha
Thanks for looking gents & maybe ladies

Got to get a pic of the headliner, one thing to remember if you have the rear tow hook bolted on, if you have to get towed you may have to remove it because towers won't tow from them so keep a ratchet and wrench handy. I went with a front tow strap and had to use it the other day to pull the car on the tow truck bed with and it was strong enough.

That's pretty neat that you got a use out of the towhook. Most people nowadays are form>function.. But I'm honestly a function>form kinda guy deep down. I'll definitely get the headliner pics posted once I finish installing. Been kinda backed up with school and everything so I've been pretty much completely gutted the last couple days. Lol, it actually feels a lot quicker because I had a sub in there too. Haha

Sideskirt reps. Lol

Test fitted the sideskirts today.. I knew they were just reps but DAMN. LOL. I think I just have to cut a thin slice of it off. It seems like they cut it uneven or not enough so it should be an easy fix for a good fitment. Also had a fail with the moonroof. Still gonna be gutted the next couple days since I ran out of glue. Need to get some more later today and finish it up. I also have this one fatty leak in my trunk too. I've tried siliconing pretty much every known spot and method and nothing seems to work. Lemme know if you guys know the secret leak! I wanna find it while it's all already gutted. I might just sit in my car with a hose spraying water on top later today too. Hahaha, wish me luck!
