Thanks! I'm on steelies atm cuz of all the snow. The yonaka coilovers are really nice....a lot better than I expected. So far with 5000km ish on them, they still feel as solid as day one. In the snow it's a bit too stiff (12k/6k) and you may slide a bit. Not bouncy at all ride quality isn't harsh.
I have a few things on the way...a lot of polished parts and may or may not include engine related stuff....we'll just have to wait and see :P |

Here's a big update!...winter came and the car was neglected for a while. Over the last 2 weeks I got a lot done though. swapped hatches with a friend, so now i'm spoilerless. I also got 98 rear tails. Centercaps on my slips, skunk2 LCA's, ASR subframe brace and 24mm swaybar and today I just painted my front calipers gloss black..just to refresh the look! I even got around to retrofitting lexus es400 projector fog lights onto mine. Here's pics!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and here I am today barely making it up the driveway... ![]() Also, it's been roughly 6-7 months since i've installed the yonaka coilovers. They're holding up great! No noise and no seizing even through salty winter roads. Not bouncy as long as you leave the spring preload alone. I believe I'm down 3"...after the springs settled I had 1/4 finger gap between my front tire and my fenders. No I dont rub! spring rates are 12k/6k Last edited by dark_reverie; 02-17-2012 at 07:42 PM. |
