Here's my new 2000 GSR. I picked it up in the end of September 2008. Here's the car as purchased:

First thing done was to remove the stock wing and apply an ITR wing. Boy does this attract police and all the wanna-race-retards.

I'm currently working on the interior. The carbon fiber dash kit is really not my style, but its really stuck on good. I'll post updates when its complete. I've also swapped the gold valve cover for a black one and am planning on repainting the intake to something less gold.

Next up:
Exterior
Type-R wing - *done*
Put on stock hood - *done*
Raise up the car some - *done*

Engine
Black valve cover - *done* P16
Repaint intake

Transmission
Install LSD - *done*
Install cable LS 5th gear - *done*
New bearings - *done*
Type-R tranny brace - *done*

Brakes
Legend 2 piston front brakes on 11" Prelude VTEC rotors - Have parts
RSX rear brakes on 10.2" EP3 rotors - Have parts

Interior
Removed CF dash trim - *done*
Get rid of indiglo gauges - *done*
Red carpet - *done*
RSX upper half leather rear seats

Current list of modifications
Tokico Illumina Shocks
Ground Control Coilovers
Type-R rear sway bar
Skunk2 style front camber kit
HardRace suspension bushings
5-lug conversion
Legend 2-Piston front calipers on 11" rotors

Hahahaha your like me... My GSR came with those CF "stickers" in it too.. first thing I did when I got it home was rip them all out... Looks much better with just the black... Now if it was real CF then it would be fine, but the stickers just look retarded..

Just becareful when you pull the ones off of the tweeters in the doors as the lip on those is not real strong and will break if you are not careful, I cracked one of mine when doing it..

I agree the gold needed to go..

Other than that your teg is looking sweet.. Very clean....

The one above the gauge cluster was super-glued down to the dash - completely ruining it. I've since swapped in another dash. It was actually a very decent looking CF dash kit, but CF is played out and I didn't really like it. There was WAAAY to much of it stuck down.

The rest of them came off "fairly" well. Couple of pieces were super glue "assisted" in areas so I still have a couple of interior pieces to replace unfortunately.

That's the one reason I never got the ITR wing, even when my stock one got stolen...everyone wants to race you, haha.

I'm looking forward to following this thread.

That car looks even better in person Casey. I need to get mine up and going so we can get together and have a little photoshoot with two black on black 2000 GS-R's. I need to get the full ITR optional kit though.

Way too low. Couldn't get in/out of my driveway without scraping the hell out of the lip.

When cleaning the car, a can of invisible Glass fell down and rolled under the car. It stopped against the exhaust. The car was simply TOO LOW.

Forgot to note -

When raising up the car, the front GC perch bolts broke off. For an unknown reason, the previous owner had sawed 80% through each bolt after monkey-tightening them.

on the rear perches, the hex bolt stripped on one. I called GC and got 3 new perches. They have EXCELLENT customer support. I can only praise them.
