You should let me beta test the Demon.

Try a Crome basemap on the Demon.

Okay, think I really figured it out this time

one single wire in the conversion harness had a bad solder joint - one of the 2 CKP sensor wires (crankshaft position)

Which on a stock ecu doesnt prevent the car from starting. on a chrome chipped car it doesnt prevent the car from starting - on Neptune... different story.

I just went out there and tested quickly and the car stumbled but is trying to start. I know the plugs are ultra fouled at this point so I'll throw in fresh ones and give it a go again tomorrow.

Jeez.

Might need to dump in a small amount of oil since you cylinder walls are most likely washed down.

Good tip. I will do that before running it further.

Confirmed the car does start now. I started it only 2 times for very brief periods since I didn't have my laptop out there to do any a/f tuning.

Today I ran the wires for the gauges but didn't finish installing them yet.

Also some new parts are here:
3" stainless ebay N1 style exhaust ($140 shipped!). Hope it fits lol. My inner ricer loves it.

It looks decent enough. If the muffler is crap who cares? $140 for mandrel bent 3" stainless piping is a great deal no matter what.

And an 8" flex section and my other set of v-band flanges to make the downpipe.

I now have 3 things to buy - piping to fab the down pipe, silicone couplers for the charge piping, and a dump tube

so very close now.

If I were you I'd measure the ID of the exhaust at all the openings to make sure it's consistent.

That muffler can is huge, I hope your inner ricer is happy.

Nice catch, hopefully you fixed it for good this time...So, is there a list or other stockpile of info out there somewhere of all the things that cause a car not to start on neptune, obd1 ecu's and obd2 ecus?

It's a true 3" exhaust EXCEPT for where it bolts to a stock cat - which will be chopped off and my v-band flange welded there.

By the way, that exhaust is definitely worth the price. I'm going that same route...a modified ebay catback with a quality muffler ftw!
