A friend of mine bought a 99 Civic Si turbo that had been blown up, and decided to sell the turbo kit so i grabbed it. Went up to Evansville, IN this past friday and got started installing the kit. Its the greddy stock b16 kit. on the civic the block had to be cut out for the turbo to fit so we thought we had to do that on the r, but to my suprise we didn't. The turbo set in perfect and bolted right up. The downpipe fit first try to. We had to take the oil pan to have the return fitting welded, but after that everything else was simple. Around 3 on saturday we loaded it up on a trailer and took it to Louisville, KY to be tuned by SeenData. It is tuned on Crome at 6psi. Definitely is way faster, haven't had a chance to dyno it yet though. I'm very impressed. Got the whole kit, installed, and tuned, for 1500! Let me know what you guys think. And feel free to ask any questions.

A decent pic where you can see the front mount

Pic of the overall setup

AEM fuel pressure regulator, 450cc injectors

Greddy Catch can, and you can kinda see the BOV

It looks like he has a screen covering the hole.

If your going to build a setup, then why not build it to accomodate the type of driving that your going to be doing 80% of the time? Horse power is expensive. If your unsure about your goal, just come up with a budget for how much you want to spend.

What turbo is that? If it's the stock greddy kit turbo then it's probably too small for that engine. You might want to upgrade in the future. Other than that, great deal!
