Thanks,

But still, what's the point? the engine is hot anyway, on a FWD integra, the fans turn on to cool the radiator -> cool coolant gets into the engine. i highly doubt the fan would do anything to a NA stock H22 engine at idle rpm...

its pointing over the header. im sure the temps in this engine bay will be hotter then if it was still mounted in the front. it needs all thelp it can get. plus can you imagine how hot it would be inside the car without that fan there to circulate some air at dead stops?

coolant cools the engine, not the fan.

we sure as hell can't stress that enough man.dead seriously can't stress it enough.

ok about the fan thing.why not have one blow in air and one blow out air that way you have air circulating the area so the inside of the car won't get as hot .maybe some insulation too.

Post #DC2H22-56

Here are some pics of the $25 “paint booth”…

exhaust system…

and with the “door” open. The air gets in between the joists above this “wall”.

I’m going to prime all of the bare metal this morning. I think it will be interesting to see how the engine compartment looks all one color.

Thanks,
Dave

i was gona say to make sure you have some sort of ventilation for the paint to dry correctly and i just saw the box with the fan in it.... brilliant.

i really love how the rear panels look flared out.
