Post #DC2H22-47

Iíve been working on the exhaust heat shields before welding the new rear floor in place. The first 2 pics are with the bumper cover in place.

This shot is from the rear with the bumper cover removedÖ

and another from underneathÖ

and another with exhaust system removed.

I also finished the fuel tank cover mounting structure. This pic shows the area behind the passenger seat. The large hole is for the ECU harness and the small hole is for the fuel pump and fuel gauge sending unit harness. The ECU will be under the seat, but Iím waiting until Iíve added the sound deadening to the floor before welding in the bracket.

This shot is behind the driverís seat with a hole for the fuel door and hatch release cables, rear washer tube, antenna, power antenna, EGR control, coil and starter wires.

This view from the rear shows how the ends of the cover are fastened.

This pic shows how the bottom of the cover is fastened across the floor and tunnel. You can also see the harness holes from the rear. Iíll install seal on the cover just before final assembly.

Thanks,
Dave
