how much fan do you need?

if it's just to keep hot air from buidling up in the top of the comparment and warping stuff/damaging paint you could use a marine 12v bilge blower (AKA eBay electric superchargers) to do the job easily enough with some flexible NACA tubing

site selling engine compartment cooling ish

that hose is a little expensive however

Drinking dark liquor, tellin white lies.

I'm keeping all of my receits. I'll total it up when it's finished, but I bet it's a lot less than anyone would think. My budget is $10k, and I'm well below that.

Thanks,
Dave

You are correct. The fan will be used to ventilate the engine compartment. I comes on with the radiator fans, controlled by the ECT switch. I can also control it manually.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave looks like the progect is coming along nicely!! me and Cisco have been following your progress and are very impressed with all of it, espically since these are our 2 favorite cars all mixed up into one.

The day this project is completed will be recognized as a TI.net holiday in my eyes.

It will be a day every integra owner looks at their teg and says:

"Gosh I wish you were mid engine rear wheel drive like dave's teg...why cant you be like dave's teg?........huh!! why?!?!??!........"

Naw I see it as an inspiration. Even though many of us have Tegs, and some that don't like the unfortunate me, we shall look at our cars and say to ourselves, our cars have so much potential, and dreams are more real than words. I classify his car a hybrid, it's not Frankenstein's monster, it's a work of craftsmanship. lol

guys i know this project is really interesting/cool but i think some of you are getting alittle to attached, its kinda weird in my personal opinion. but none the less props to dave for taking on such a huge project, it takes balls.

anyone know a better way? The difference between the men and the boys is the price of their toys.

Post #DC2H22-46

Not a lot to show, other than the wire harness is done. I finished modifying the fuel tank cover…

made an aluminum mounting plate for the intake… (that’s a piece of an Ebay CAI with a K&N on the end…

the rear floor, just sitting in there (not yet installed) with a wooden frame I made for a reference so I can take the engine back out to finish the engine cover…

and another shot of the engine bay…(I wish that guy would tell me what’s wrong with the strut tower brace.)

Some of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me, I’ve heard right here.

Thanks,
Dave
