Im really trying to figure out where that braket is from... its defitnatly not any year integra...i dont think its out of a civic.... im guessing either a prelude or newer honda.... but a lot of seat brakets must look like that hahah.

wood+Tape+carboard = good way to do any project

hahaha thats actually how i do my fiberglass work.... or start it atleast.

man i hope to do something as big as your project one day... and actually pull it through like your going to.

Quote: dfddfd2 on Jul/09/05 I need some help identifying the bracket pointed to by the white arrow. I have no idea what they are there for. The brackets (there are 2, one on each side) are inside the rear panel. This view is looking rearward from the inside with the RR tail light holes at the top. What, if anything, bolts to these fairly substantial brackets? Are they used only during manufacturing?

Thanks again for all of your generous support and encouragement!

Post #DC2H22-44

I’ve been working on the wiring while the gas tank cover and rear floor are being made. Since the Prelude has no provisions for a rear wiper, I used the switch and harnesses from the Teg and added them to the Prelude. These shots show the Teg wiper switch mounted to the Prelude column, just below and ahead of the ignition switch. The harness and connector hanging from the center of the dash is for the stereo system. You can see where I added a wire from the Teg for the power antenna. Fortunately there was one unused pin in one of the two connectors between the dash and main wire harnesses.

The Prelude has what they call a “Multiplex Control System”, which consists of three control units that talk to each other via serial communications. one of the units is incorporated into the driver’s power window switch, which meant replacing the Teg switch. I was hoping to just bolt-swap the switches, but unfortunately they were not compatible, so I had to modify the switch mounting from the Prelude door panel, and enlarge the hole in the Teg door panel to make it fit.

I have the tweeters from the Prelude, but the covers were stolen from the Teg, so I’m looking for a couple of them.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Dave
