Holy shit. it's 1:39am and i just spent like 4 hours reading every page to find that at page 62 its not finished yet lol. in any case this is truly amazing work and you are def a gifted craftsman. one question..with the motor in the rear hatch, will you leave it visible through the rear hatch glass. Also are you at all worried about rear visability issues?

Post #DC2H22-43

I’ve been working on the fuel tank cover pattern for the past couple of days. It’s amazing what you can do with some sticks, cardboard, staple gun, tape, and screws. Ed Shadeed with “Carolina Customs and Restoration” will be making the parts. Here are some pics before the pattern was finished.

The completed fuel tank cover pattern…

Had to drink a few beers to get this thing done…

Installed in the car…

I finished with the seat mounts late last week. This one is the right rear mount for the passenger seat. Anyone recognize this bracket?

“American Chopper” is on the TV while I’m working on this post. They’re working on a military bike and just had a visit from some Air Force guys, one of which had been injured and lost a leg in Afghanistan. When the visit was over, Paulie said “meeting those Air Force guys has really motivated me to get started on my bike.” My first thought when I heard that was how motivated I am by your responses here. It really makes a difference and I thank you all for your support.

Regards,
Dave

I have to wonder, with the incredible amount of work going into this car, how much work is being put into the engine?

This project is awesome!

To all you guys and/or girls who question why hes doing it:
I think he's doing it with an integra and a prelude motor simply because no one has before. He's doing it just to prove that it can be done. MORE POWER TO HIM!

This looks like it might be a future "how to" book.

Very nice undertaking...can't wait to see it come together.
