dude I can't believe you have the patience for this project, because everything basically has to be molded and cut from scratch. I can only wish I had the skill and experience as you have. Hopefully once I'm out of automotive school and have a few years experience, I will be able to tackle something like this.

I would say excellent job but that'd be lying because I don't think any one of us can even touch you're doing. You are doing an IMMACULATE JOB!!

Good job on the scoops!

I suggest inserting a mesh/grille in them to prevent birds or rocks from getting in.. and perhaps some sort of bend or catch can or fabrication to minimize water ingestion when it is raining outside, especially if one of the scoops is feeding the air filter directly. if it is just a short ram type setup for the intake, then you may be alright.

this is awesome... ive said that like a billion times before... but now im thinking you know what would be even cooler!!??? if you had put a k20a2 or a k20a into this! its a cable shifter too i dont think it would have been any harder PLUS since the engine is backwards you could have the header and exhaust go straight back through where you would put the key to open the trunk that general area.... plus it would be 100% INTEGRA Blood!!! and it would be probably the best integra in the world.

regardless that would have been much much more expensive than what your doing...
and anyways your invention is gona rock the house.

yah, did you forget, lol, he said at the time he was on a budget.. if any of us could have gotten our hands on a K20.. man, oh man.. lol.. I personally would have opted a Euro-R's motor,be more fun (=

Here are the NACA side scoops installed.

This shows the right side duct from the inside.

Left side.

that is so nicely done. amazing work.

are you getting the same amount of air with that setup instead of having the scoops jut outward like you had originally thought of?

also, what does NACA stand for?
