Was wondering, in considering having chosen the H-series, you chose 97's H22A-4, but why not the JDM H22A-S while you were @ it (took me awhile, you said 97 VTEC, which I thought was loosely coined for 97-01s over in good ole JDM, the Si trim, but your title says 4 in it so, yeah)? The engine is prettie pricey, but I'd figure it's a good, small jump compared to the stock 1. I dunno, but is it because you want an LSD and you can't hook one up with an JDM engine (like I said, I dunno lol, maybe you can? probably? lol)? The JDM H22A-S boasts actuallie some nice comparable numbers to the I T-R (96-97/98-01 JDM's B18C), just the bore&stroke are slightly larger than the R (and I think redlines like 300 higher?). The only other sorta misty thing that I am uncertain is in regards to the OBD.. While the JDM H22A-S has the same comp. as the R, it has an OBD2 - great. However, apparently, the other lower brother (hehe) the JDM H22A-G1 with a comp. of 10.6:1 (as compared to the R and S) it has supposedly an option for an optional LSD (true??).. the problem however, is it's OBD1, but the H22A-G2 (G1 = 92-96, G2=97-01), it is an OBD2, and the same comp. as the G1's (LSD option?). but OBD2 like the ''S'' one. All same displacement, but the difference I see in the G2 and the S is the S has higher comp. ratio/some more hp/tq.. It is pricey, still, nonetheless.. the problem lies that I read from that they were OBD1, so some component swatching would be necessary to make it OBD2, but I thought they were OBD2? So another misty part; if anyone knows come and holla and clarify/verify it.Thnx

Oh, and I dunno about this, but it says the H22A-G2, is actuallie an F22B, but I figured they're interchangeable, with no/minimal modification or fabrication..

Post #DC2H22-32

The brake lines are done. Here are a couple of pics…

“Plate of spaghetti” around the 4040 proportioning valve…

Thanks to Kenny Fisher (95SilverBullet) from Maryland for getting some brake line adapters to me so quickly. I cut one of the ears off each to use as a spacer underneath, but you can see how they’re being used here.

The throttle cable is finished also. I used the trunk release cable from the Prelude. This shot shows the bracket to hold the cable for the gas pedal. It’s hard to see, but this pic also shows the cruise control arm from the Prelude welded to the Integra pedal arm. The cruise control cables are different.

I needed a bead roller for the aluminum tubing I have for the water lines, and the cheapest one I could find, that would do ¾” tubing, was $400! So I just made one. Here’s a couple of pics…

and the beads it rolled in the ¾” and 1-1/4” tubing.

Working on getting the water and A/C lines in now, then I’ll do the clutch and vacuum lines.

Thanks to all for your support and encouragement!
Dave
