Nice pics Dave! Your new integra hybrid's gonna be sportin' the logo "Now with 50% more stiffer feel" after all those welds Looking awesome, I'm excited that something of this magnitude is documented. Good luck on the rest of the project!

hm.. ive been following this thread as best as i could considering that half the things you mention causes me to have a headache.. so i know i have so much to learn. What kind of education or experience did you have before this? I was also thinking, since your going to be starting a business and since we can see the workmanship and how carefully you are planning this out. Im sure some members will definitely be interested in some future projects. If you also looking for sponsors, especially now because you said you were unemployed, maybe TI can help? who knows.. just some thoughts.. but the work is awesome.. thanks so much for your time and dedication in keeping us updated and goodluck.

I don't know if anybody brought this up... but what do you think the weight increase is going to be on the car? I would imagine with all that extra metal in the back it will be quite a bit heavier... but since its a street car i suppose that won't matter as much to you. What's your take?

commence the jigglin'! *suck*squish*blow-by*bang*burn-oil*blow*

The very first post in this thread contains an index of my other posts with topics covered and page numbers for easy reference. You'll find answers to these and other questions throughout the thread with references on page one.

With over 15000 views, I continue to be amazed at the popularity of this project. I very much appreciate everyones interest, questions, and words of encouragement!

Thank You!!!
Dave

i really hope you get this in a big magazine... probably once you get it finished and running (so they're not waiting impatiently for the story to be finished) you will get in.

Keep it up!

I'm glad to see this isn't a post of "what I want to do" or "what I plan to do is..." I'm also glad to see that there was a sufficient amount of time and effort put into planning the project alone. I have witnessed many people go about things without any plans and/or research prior to attempt. I'm glad to see that you have the right mind set. Amazing accomplishemtns thus far. It takes a lot of skill and know-how to complete the project at hand and it sure looks like you have plenty off both.

I hope everything works out and it goes as smoothly as possible.

An LSD would be a key ingredient to helping you put the power down. I have heard good and bad things about the Phantom Grip LSD. I would look into a Quaife. A little more pricy, but quality is top of the line.

Keep up the excellent job.

RIP Danny RIP Nerm

Donnie4p, thanks for your kind and encouraging words! It's interesting you bring up a Quaife as I've been shopping for one lately. Any suggestions on where to get the best price on one for a 97 Prelude H22A4 (non-SH)?

Thanks,
Dave

Post #DC2H22-18

Finally got the right rear spring bucket installed. These pics are before grinding. I've got to clean up some of the welds on both sides to make it look decent.

This is a pic of the left quarter showing the holes cut for the fuel door. The rear hole is where the door was, and the front hole is where it's going. I'll use the piece from the front hole to fill the rear hole.

Thanks for your interest and support!
Dave
