it is the lighting or the paint seems to be too corase and not fine enough...?

its called orange peel. Colorsanding will get rid of most of that. Either way, for painting it himself, he did a damn good job.

I know you have the side vents and all for cooling the engine. But what do you think of maybe some deflectors on the bottom of the car, at the front of the new engine bay opening to deflect some air thats traveling under the car up at the engine.

The engine is cooled by the radiator up front. The side scoops ventilate and help keep the engine bay cooler. The scoop on the right side also provides fresh intake air for the engine. A deflector under the front of the new engine bay would be vulnerable to damage, and most of the hot air from the radiator will be traveling under the car. I actually want to minimized the amount of air flowing under the car, so I don't want to depend on it as a source for cooling air.
