Exclamation Auto to Manual Swap: Can't get an accurate cost?? HELP!

[B]Team Integra.net! I NEED YOUR HELP[B]

I am currently researching the costs and parts needed to conduct a auto to manual swap on my
1998 Integra LS with a B18B1 Engine.

When I was looking online people claimed to be able to do the job with 1500$ max (without labor). However, when I finished compiling a list of the parts needed, it totaled out to 2974.95!!! (again without labor). I cannot understand how people are getting insanely low prices.

Team Integra.net, if you guys could look over my parts list, and help me confirm that these are indeed the correct parts, then I would be very grateful. If there's anything you see such as a overpriced part, unnecessary part, incompatible part, then could you leave me a link with the correctly priced part.

I got the original parts list from sunbeam @ 94 Integra LS Auto to Manual Swap - Carolina Hondas

And this is the parts list I made (including links)

1. 5 Speed Manual Transmission by Carbon Synchros Hydro S80 --> $1180.00

12. Instrument Cluster (Manual) --> $89.99

Anyway, I apologize for writing a book, but I believed that the more details everyone knew, the better the responses.

If there is anything I missed, please post a link. Also if you have any suggestions of what I should do, I'd be happy to hear them.

Thank you Team-Integra.net for your time in reading this

The first link is a completely rebuilt trans with carbon synchros.

The 2nd link is a $605 6-puck clutch.

Why do you need both of them? What is wrong with a used trans and an OEM clutch? Your price is high because you have priced out high priced parts, that I'm assuming you don't even need.

This. Those low cost estimates are how you do it at rock bottom pricing meaning using all used parts from donor/scrapped vehicles. When you price it out piece by piece using all new parts and upgraded parts it makes the price go up.

Thank you for the responses!

I have a quick question though...

Could I purchase a Part-out Integra With a Manual transmission and just replace my auto transmission with the manual from the parts car?

Again thank you for the responses.
