The main reason for me upgrading my front calipers was to eliminate or reduce brake fade. I've tried different pads on the GSR brakes with some success, but figured for the money this would be a worth while upgrade on the track. Initial bite is not too much different from the GSR brakes (obviously, this is dependent on pad selection) since the piston diameter is the same but uses a larger brake pad. For argument sake, if the ITR calipers did provide a much higher braking force, that would transfer even more weight to the front therefore reducing the braking capacity of the rear brakes. These are my thoughts only, so please chime in if my mentality is incorrect.

Maybe when someone with the ITR front caliper/RSX rear caliper upgrade gets their car on the track, I would love to hear some feed back about feel/modulation/effectiveness of this setup compared to stock.

You can mess with bias based on the aggressiveness of the pad you use but you never want more in the rear.

I did it for the bigger rotors, but they feel awesome with the EBC reds.

Good news, everyone!

Confirmed that this brake upgrade will fit behind OEM 15x6 2004-05 Civic steel wheels. There's about 3mm of clearance between the caliper and the face of the wheel! Pics up soon.

i just finished doing this set up on a friends integra and on a friends civic. both cars stop great! but theres a clunking noise in both of them not when you hit the brake but right when the car actually stops if your braking hard. i check everything and tripple check for lose bolts. eveyrthign seems okay i cant figure out what it is. has anyone had this issue?

Does anyone have any information about the correct caliper bracket for the REAR ITR calipers? I bought some re-manufactured rear calipers and the Hawk HPS pads for 97-01 ITR rears don't fit in the remans... Any suggestions?

I double checked that I have the right pads, and the store double checked that I got the right calipers, but I'm thinking the bracket is wrong. They let me turn in GSR rears for ITR rears to take care of the core fee, and when we compare them, the two brackets look the same so there's gotta be something wrong here.

I got one caliper in T25 and the other in T23 and measured and analyzed both and they look identical
