Talking Mugen Showa Coilovers

Hi guys, A friend of mine is selling his Mugen showa coilovers that he have on his EG6. He says that it will fit my 2000 integra ls.

So how much would it drop my teg and for 500$ is that a great suspension kit ?
Sorry i'm noob in suspension but the seems in really great condition (no rust, no leaks, paint still on it, etc.)

they look like this Click Me

Thanks!

Not necessarily if it's a friend of his, friends hook each other up often.

If the photo is accurate, those looks like shocks and springs (not exactly coilovers). The rear shock will not bolt onto the non-R LCA either.

Just what I observed if the photo is accurate. Knowing that, $500 seems about right for used condition Mugen Showa shocks (5way adjustable) and spring set.

You could probably find basic full coilovers for around that price to be honest.

*facepalm*

First off, the term "coilover" refers to a spring/shock assembly where the shock is inside the spring...so yes, those are coilovers. Our cars come stock with coilovers.

Mugen coilovers versus FunctionForm or anything else for $500? If you just want to slam the car to the ground, let those Mugen coilovers go to someone who will appreciate their performance and get one of those $500 coilover kits. If you're looking for a mild drop, a proper ride, and a good handling setup, I'd seriously consider those Mugens. As was mentioned before, you will need ITR-style rear LCAs for those to mount up at all.

If your integra is a DD, then all the more reason not to get a set of cheap $500 full coilovers...again, unless all you care about is slamming it to the ground. These Mugens will ride better and provide a more reasonable drop than anything you get from KSport/FunctionForm/Omni Power/etc. etc. for $500-600.
