Default ASR 24mm Sway Bar will fit Non-ASR Subframes?

I tried searching all over the web. I still can't find the answer. I have a subframe like the one shown below (made by R-crew). I wonder if the ASR 24MM sway bar will work on it. So the question really is if the bracket for ASR 24mm Sway Bar will fit on a OEM Type R frame, since I am using a OEM bracket on a ITR sway bar. Also, I remember there were an discussion about how to adjust the rear sway bar with the adjustable endlink. I can't find it anymore. If anyone knows that discussion, can you put up the link.

I tried searching online again. I hope some people would have this setup and confirm that this would work. I really don't want to buy the 24mm Sway Bar then it turns out doesn't fit.

So long as you get the bar for the ITR, you should be fine. However, have no idea whether or not your current brace can handle the added stress of the 24mm bar.

also, you should probably note that you will be going to a 24mm sb and may have to modify your D brackets/bushings or get new ones

Thanks for the information. I think the R-Crew brace is pretty much the same as the Comptech other than it is a replica.

I thought the ASR 24MM Sway Bar comes with the D brackets/bushings. I am getting a set of the new Blox endlinks. So, I should be good there.

the distance from the bolts may be different you may require 24mm energy D brackets instead here's a picture to show why, the energy has more "adjust-ability" since it is universal

I know the end links come with the complete kit (sway bar & brace), but looking at jhpusa.com, they note that the sway bar alone does NOT come with end links.

I really prefer using the ASR D brackets. just because of the look. Plus, more adjustment = more moving parts. I wonder how would that affect the purpose of the sway bar.

Thanks for all the information BTW.

What points does a larger sway bar add stress to? And IMO if you order the correct kit for the brace you have the D brackets should line up.

The larger bar adds stress to anything it's connected to; The LCA's and the subframe mounting points. Search "subframe tear-out" if you want to see pics of the potential damage.
