nice man, where do you plan on tuning it?

weve got some nice tuners here in MN, so if you want more info or anything just shoot me a pm.

also, what exhaust are you running?

if its something decent and you want to sell it, let me know because im sort of in the market for one at the moment.

Also depending on where you go, you can use crome pro as a substitue for s300 if you need to. itll save you a little bit of money, but im positive the s300 would be better. myself and a few buddies of mine are tuned on crome with no problems at all.

I was planning on tuning at King; I don't know many tuning shops up in MN except DB. I'm planning on running my 2.5" exhaust I bought from SMSP two years ago. I should still be able tor each my goal but may require more boost. Unless I can sell it, I'm probably not going to grab a 3" yet.

If I decide against s300, my next option was Neptune RTP. Not sure about Crome Pro but I know RTP and S300 has the boost by gear feature.

I'm from the Stevens Point area. I thought about a top mount kit but I think the gt28rs will suit me well. Also planning on keeping my A/C too.

In the mean time, I'll be searching for parts and saving money! If only the weather wasn't so crummy, I'd take some photos of this beast =D.

my own personal opinion, i would go with bigger injectors and a stage 3 or 4 clutch.

The FRP is useless. If you are thinking you are going to have to crank up the fuel pressure to make your goal with those injectors, just get bigger injectors. I would also invest in a 3" if I was you. King is most comfortable with s300, so you should use s300.

I also think that clutch is the wrong choice. Again, if it were my car I would be using a competition stage 4 or 5. Rather too much clutch than not enough. You might get away with the stage 2 for a while, but that is not the clutch for 310whp.

i would also vouch for a shop in MN, MAP performance but it is almost an hour longer drive than going to king. The tuner Jordan tuned my stock ls motor with a ramhorn, gt35 3" exhaust and it made 290 hp 250 tq on 12 lbs. he knows his shit. on that note i just smoked my stage 2 clutch last weekend, if you plan on shifting hard it wont last more that a couple hundred miles...

I wasn't planning to crank the FRP but stated that I had it because it was already on the car from previous owner. 3" would be optimal and will likely purchase one. I'm also pretty set on s300, shouldn't be an issue.

I didn't quite think of the clutch in that manner. I had the impression that it could be right since it was part of the accessory pack for the synapse turbo kit. Suppose I'll be looking for a new clutch now =D.

You can always keep your exhaust and just put a cutout in the downpipe. Its cheaper and will make more power and less hassle.

If you are thinking about going forged internals and stuff you should go with a stage 4 and bigger injectors. Think of how much hp you want to get. Like me i want to get like 400 so i got a stage 4 clutch and 750cc injectors so i dont have to buy a clutch or injectors again. That would be the cheaper route i think

I'm not planning to take the teg much more than 300whp. Which was also my thought behind the stage 2 clutch and rc550cc. The forged internals - was there if I wanted to make it more reliable. As of right now, I'd like it to be a completely stock motor. If I don't reach 300whp right away, no big deal.

300whp would be awesome but not a have to. I'm probably still aiming for a 3" exhaust - possibly Thermal R&D. Saw some good deals online.
