Dual valve springs needed?

Hey guys, long time no post!

So I'm currently getting my block machined (bore, hone, deck, etc) and I'm wondering If I should upgrade to dual valve springs. I'm running a GSR motor with a piston/rod combo. Head is completely stock besides new valve seals. I previously made 350 to the wheels until the ringlands gave up a few weeks later.

So I'm planning for around 350-400whp. My question is, Do I need to upgrade to dual valve springs If I'm running stock cams/valves/etc? I know it won't hurt but I don't need the extra work

it wouldn't hurt to slide some inner springs on the exhaust side...

GSR
Intake 14761-P72-003 (blue)
Inner 14751-P72-003 (blue)

Exhaust 14762-P30-003 (purple)
Inner None

ITR
Intake 14761-P73-J02 (yellow)
Inner 14751-P73-J02 (yellow)

Exhaust 14761-P72-003(blue)
Inner 14751-P72-003 (blue)

For a cheap ITR spring set, GSR intake springs to ITR exhaust, and purchase ITR (yellow) springs for the intake.

acuraoemparts.com no longer has them listed. while I know that's not an end all be all, the nearest Acura dealership is almost 2 hours away....

What's the problem? Plenty of sources online to still order them from unless you just have to have it right this second.

1) Take part #

2) Put into eBay's search, finding seller's selling OEM one (they'll have pics of the sealed Honda bags)

3) Buy parts

4) Done

it may take someone to verify, but i don't recall seeing any difference between intake and exhaust springs at all. I know i had mine all mixed together when i had the head apart and don't recall even remotely any issues pulling out an inner and outer and putting on either intake or exhaust

Fully aware they are different part numbers, that wouldn't be the first and only time identical parts from Honda would have different part #'s

.
