Maybe Josh / @mutt8588 can chime in, he's the one who gave me my inner springs when I put my head together

OK let's clear it up:

For your setup you do not need better springs.

Spring needs: raising redline or more aggressive cam. Stock cam, stock redline, stock springs are all that's needed

You can use stock gsr inner valve springs for both intake and exhaust and run itr cams or equivalent without issue.

Every time matt works on my car he hands me a few bolts and tells me "here, you didnt need these" and sometimes his clutch foot doesnt work properly

Ran it myself for about 2 years as well. Autox and daily duties. No mercy at all. And had redline at 8500-9k and used it regularly.

If I recall correctly that was matts b20v setup as well with itr cams and he ran redline to 10k and never had a binding issue. But those bearings lol

If you wanted to be super thorough you would be using 100% gsr intake springs, inner and outer, but you really just need the inners.

I just ended up buying the yellow inner and outers. Moving the intake ones to the exhaust and putting the yellows on the intake.
