Ive seen the Toda CG for around $250 and the Skunk 2 CG for $200, what would be the better buy as an over all better cam gear?

dude they are just cam gears. They do the same thing, all you pay for is the name brand. The only difference it that the toda has 4 bolts vs. skunk2 has 6 bolts for securing the adjustment. I paid $100 for "hyamee" cam gears. Used but still do the same thing as when new. Just my oppinion. stefan525

true cam gears are cam gears shouldn't make much of a differene. but i heard that the skunk2 ones are harder to read. and that toda cam gears are good. toda makes the spoon cam gears.

it's actually depend on what camshafts you already had. if you have toda camshafts, then i would say go for toda cam gears but if you have skunk2 camshafts, then go for skunk2 cam gears. it's better to have the same manufacturers parts. however, if you have other brands or stocks cams, then i would go for skunk2 to save you some money for other mods.
