Id heard of DK having good ones, from various places around the net, and that was actually the first one I tried to find this time around, before I made this post. Apparently they no longer are in business, at least not selling ones that fit our cars. Read somewhere that there had been issues with quality, and they hadn't been able to find a reliable supplier with good units that would be worthy if the Dk reputation. That's when I ran across that VMS unit I was originally asking about.

Hello!
Sorry for necroing this post, but is this dizzy still going strong for all of you? and do you all have Type R's (B18C*)?
Did you have to point it towards firewall to get optimal timing?

I'd be the wrong person to ask as my Integra is approaching a year now that it's been parked :-(

But until that point the distributor was still working fine (so it had been in operation for a few years to that point)

Sorry to hear man, what happend?

Well i figured it would be worth asking here how it all went with these dizzys, and ofc if people have them on B18C's, cause that seem to matter, its like these cheap dizzys just dont like high RPM's.

Indeed. Installed and timed it in the middle of winter at the beginning of 2016. That was good time. No complaints here.
