I got a 1998 Acura Integra automatic with 232,000 miles for $800. It runs gets me up and down a hill. I drive 80-100 miles a day. Anyway what are some things I should look into replacing? The check engine light is on, but supposedly for the short air intake but idk or intake manifold. The car rpms when idle is at 1 or 2. When shifting into reverse it makes a clunk noise, battery will die sometimes while doing that. Shifts kinda rough not to bad. Also front bumper is hanging off on the left and right side also side pieces thinking about using zip ties to hold it up. Front blinkers are broken. I WILL POST PICS IN THE MORNING. Just looking for advice on repairs, etc to do to the car.
I would do all the regular maintainer.
Oil change
Spark plugs
Fuel filter
If auto fluid and filter change on tranny
Get the codes for the check engine light.
Check your brake pads.
Coolant flush
@biker_Seth tomorrow I'm flushing the fluid for tranny and oil then coolant also power steering fluid and brake lines. Replacing radiator too
