speed govenor? 95 ls - Team Integra Forums

I searched it on the forums here and fod that the integras did not have a govenor. if that is true why does my car top at 107mph at 4,500 in fifth? I wouldnt doubt if thats all it has for a top speed, but there is still more RPM's im new to all this car stuff. thanks in advance for answers and advice

No governor

Without a governor, top speed is mostly down to the point where power in top gear exactly matches rolling and air resistance. A '95 LS was good for about 125 mph out of the factory, but in your case that was 17 years ago so 107 is reasonable.

Its an old car I guess is my answer. When I was young my LS topped at 124mph, I'll never know what it'll do now, but I wouldnt be surprised if it was around your area.

i got my DA up to 135ish a long time ago
and i got my gsr up to 145 and that was a long time ago
im older now and i barley see 70mph
