Hey guys,
I swapped a 96 GS-R and vtec motor harness into a 95 LS with just an LS cabin harness. I wired in vtec sol, vtec pressure without problems (just use a voltmeter between the shock tower and the plug and checked for continuity). Knock sensor I also figured out, But IAB I had a lot of problems. First, can someone answer this for me. I am assuming that when the vtec harness and ls harness are plugged together, wherever there are vtec/knock/iab wires coming in, there should be a dead-pin on the LS side right? I found the continuity for the IAB, but there was already a wire on the LS side of the plug? This is confusing me since vtec sol/vtec pressure were both empty-pins on the ls side of the harness, and the same with the Knock sensor (If I recall correctly). The IAB is underneath the intake manifold correct? I need some help with this. If I wired up IAB incorrectly, would the car bog after 5800? Run Normally? Or would it kick forward like a b**** if its wired properly? Thanks guys! __________________
