I would buy that car for $6,000. a 2000 gsr with 84,xxx is impossible to find around here. My friend who has a 2000 gsr with 172,xxx has this guy who keeps offering him 5,000. And his car has tons of dents and the inside isnt that nice. Of course since the offer he spiced the interior up with some real bride seats and takata harnesses.

so the car you guys are seeing with the photos is one i found with 150k on the body. 8k on rebuilt heads and 9k on a rebuilt trans. He wants 4400 im trying to get him down to 4000.
Update: on the 84000 mile original owner teg, negotiated him down to 5400 hoping to get him a little bit further down when i go see the vehicle. i will have pictures to post of this one. My question is, which one would you take? the teg at 5400 is going to leave me no room for improvement until at least the summer. The teg for 4400 will give me some cushion for a catback exhaust or possibly new rims and tires. Thanks |

I would jump on that 5400 dollar teg, that thing is mint, and low miles without a rebuild.
Personally this is what I see... The person that has the teg with 150k on the body and 8k on the head and trans...why what did he do? why did he need a rebuild? does he drive it hard etc... of course maybe he just felt like it. But that teg with 84000 original miles is insanely clean I paid 5500 for my bone stock gsr with 107,000 best investment i have ever made and its worth taking more time to save up for upgrades. |

Those pictures you are seeing of the "clean" teg, is the one with 150k on the body and rebuilt engine... re-read the post above yours and I think you'll see that. Was confused for a second, myself.

I would still jump on a stock teg with 84,000 over a rebuild though. |

You never know, you might end up finding something mint enough that you can't turn it down, that's what happened when I found my 2000 on Craigslst. Other than a few door dings and some minor shift knob and steering wheel wear, it's as well maintained as the previously purchased new Hondas in my household. |

4400 Teg is sketchy. Different cluster on it, you have no idea how many miles it has on the chassis unless you completely trust the guy. You also have no idea how many miles are on the rebuild, it seems like people will say anything to get their integra sold these days.
I wouldn't doubt if both the 5,400 and 4,400 tegs have rebuilt titles, but hopefully they don't. I'm always skeptical when people are willing to drop their price a lot. It took me 3 years to find the right integra, I believe that buying a carfax is definitely worth its price as well as taking the car in question to a dealership to get it checked out. Your car is an investment, so treat it like one. Do your homework and don't be afraid to pay a little more money for something that will hold its value.
