What kind is everyone using? and anyone one using the wiring kits?
I am going to be towing a HF trailer and my F-mod, so maybe a 1000lbs. These are the two types I found, both are around the same price. Type 1 ![]() Type 2

I will be installing type 1 on my car hopefully after my tax return gets here. I plan on hauling my dirt bike and some track tires eventually. I think its better because the stress is better distributed. I would only use type 2 if all I was hauling was a bike rack. As far as wiring kits go anything should be fine, as long as it seems durable.

i have the first type on my civic right now and took the same off of my integra [just because its a race car now] can tow my jetski fine up and down the launch ramp no problem. uhaul carries a legit wiring setup for pretty cheap too.
